Where were you in your career before Complete Landscape?

I was in my first year of level 1 plumbing.

What were you looking for or struggling with?

I was looking for a company where I can grow and was willing to hear feedback.

What did you learn or experience here that changed your path?

Learning to be more confident talking to customers and leading crews. Also learned to love hardscaping from start and seeing the finished project.

Who or what helped you grow?

Many great people in the company have helped me grow. My former manager, Trevis, taught me numerous field skills. I am also thankful to Allen for teaching me how to lead.

What do you do now that youre proud of?

What I am most proud of is completing projects by taking the correct steps.

How has your role or confidence evolved?

When I first started working in HWH I was a laborer with little knowledge.

What’s been the biggest takeaway about working here?

The biggest takeaway is understanding how I can improve your quality of work.

Where were you in your career before Complete Landscape?

15 years in healthcare while working 7 years on the weekend recycling furniture and mattresses

What were you looking for or struggling with?

I was looking for a change and an opportunity with a company that’s on the way up

What did you learn or experience here that changed your path?

I learnt that the best way to make changes is to take the risk and think of something new.

Who or what helped you grow?

Allen, showed faith in me and always kept his word.

What do you do now that youre proud of?

My ability to run a crew, my hedge trimming is elite, How I handle problems

How has your role or confidence evolved?

My role went from Forman in training to foreman. I feel I can step on any property and within a month see dramatic improvement.

What’s been the biggest takeaway about working here?

Great place to work. Nowhere else will my input be not only appreciated but expected.

Where were you in your career before Complete Landscape?

Not enjoying my time at a bigger company that really didn't care about us workers. It really showed and the morale of the team was low. But we had fun being there were a few friends I knew, but all parted ways with the company at some point in time.

What were you looking for or struggling with?

I was looking for work I could feel satisfied with. Having an outcome or something I could contribute to and see in the end was on my list. Outdoor work I had done prior and wanted something similar.

What did you learn or experience here that changed your path?

The niche market of syn grass stood out to me and was interesting to learn Had fun seeing the final outcome of projects and the customers reactions to the product.

Who or what helped you grow?

Having solid people around in the earlier years when I came on board like James and few other notable employees, made it easier to figure things out and learn.

What do you do now that youre proud of?

I Run/help run crews and get to see the differences we make during the time we're on sites. I help gather leads to new business when approached by others in the neighbourhood, and explain the process and materials in a professional manner.

How has your role or confidence evolved?

As I've moved up from general labourer, to second hand and then up to Foreman; I've gotten a lot better with communication. With customers and with my workmates.

What’s been the biggest takeaway about working here?

staying organized and goal oriented can only lead to better function and flow of any environment. Work or at Home.
